Ojai 薰衣草 – 線香

The lavender and mint combo is genuinely calming, not cloying like so many incense sticks out there. Lit one after work and the whole room smelled like a sunset garden, plus it burned slow enough that I got a solid hour out of it.

The bergamot and tangerine notes hit first, then the lavender settles in like a deep breath after a long day. I’ve burned a lot of sticks, and these hold their scent without getting smoky or sharp, even down to the last inch.

I lit one before bed and the lavender-mint combo actually cooled the whole room down, not just my head. That bergamot and tangerine top note keeps it from going too sleepy-floral, which is exactly what I wanted. Burns clean and steady for about 45 minutes, no smoky aftertaste.
